About Tania
Tania is a registered Clinical Psychologist who has completed a Master of Clinical Psychology and a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) on the Gold Coast, Queensland.
She has worked across a range of clinical settings, including private practice, hospital in-patient and out-patient (general mental health, early psychosis and rehabilitation), community health, and forensic.
During her time in these settings, she has worked with people across the lifespan with various mental health issues including, but not limited to, anxiety disorders, depression, OCD, behavioural difficulties, loss and grief, personality disorders, substance abuse, trauma, ADHD, ASD, schizophrenia and psychotic disorders, bipolar affective disorder, chronic pain and Functional Neurological Disorder.
Tania uses a variety of treatment approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and Schema Therapy, to tailor therapy to clients’ individual needs. She is also completing additional training in Intensive Short Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP), which is a therapeutic treatment that is effective for many mental health concerns and problems.
Tania’s approach to therapy is warm, genuine, and collaborative. She is passionate about providing clients with a safe and supportive environment where they can work towards making positive changes, building greater self-awareness, and enhancing their self-care, with the goal of living a healthier, and more authentic life.
